Much of the Columbus metro area picked up around a foot of snow. Some parts of the viewing area saw over 16" of snow.
After a day of waiting, snow from Winter Storm Fern is falling in central Ohio as of 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, with ODOT traffic cameras showing accumulating across the region. Several inches of snow could be on the ground by morning, forecasters said.
