A top WWE Superstar is reportedly set to receive some time off and be away for a while after WrestleMania 42 next month.

WWE 2K26 is one of the most hotly anticipated releases on the video game schedule each year and fans who purchased one of the premium editions (King of Kings, Attitude Era, or Monday Night Wars) got their first taste of this year's production Friday.

It's WWE 2K26 release day - if you have early access - and even though only the season one tracks of the Ringside Pass are available for the time being, 2K has gone (almost) all in and told us all of the Superstars who will be coming to the game between now and October via DLC.

World Wrestling Entertainment hits the Pacific Northwest on Friday night, as WWE superstars face off at SmackDown at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore.

"WWE 2K26" is projected to be the best wrestling game of 2026. The automatic addition of classic Superstars is just a cherry on top. Fans can expect to experience the expansive Ringside Pass along with immersive match features across multiple platforms.
