"Matchless Raijin-Oh" (Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh) is a 1991 Japanese anime about a group of elementary students chosen to pilot a giant robot to protect Earth from the evil Jaaku Empire. Their classroom becomes a secret base, and despite their age, they bravely take on the challenge. As the first entry in the Eldran Series, it mixed humor, action, and life lessons, with robots that combined into the powerful Raijin-Oh. In the Philippines, it aired on RPN-9 in the 1990s and became a cult favorite.
